To provide a year-round service, carriages will be comfortable, heated and lit. The drawings show the tentative design.

In summer, semi-open carriages will also be available, to give the intensive service needed in the main holiday season.

All trains will have easy access to less abled people - platforms will be more or less at carriage floor level. Special ramps and wide doors will allow people in wheelchairs - or those with prams and double push-chairs - to enter and there will be floor clamps for safety - see preliminary carriage layout. There will also be space for bicycles etc.
