If you are working with other people or organisations it is a common requirement to share files. This might be documentation, specifications, spreadsheets or even programs.

Most people share files by sending them as email attachments, this is clumsy and inefficient.

The way we manage & share files at SWI, is using a software product called Dropbox, it works by installing a directory on your PC (or MAC). Once you have got the dropbox installed on your PC, you then create areas (directories in the Dropbox folder) to share with other people, who also use the Dropbox product. If you transfer any data to any of these shared directories, that data will automatically be transferred to everyone who is sharing the directory.

If you follow this link, you will be able to do download & use the Dropbox software free of charge. Also there is a nice little video presentation explaining how Dropbox works.

Invitation to Download Dropbox Software

By using the link above, both you & we, will get a 250MB bonus on our Dropbox space (normally 2 GB)

You really need to use this software to understand it, but we guarantee that once you start using it, you will love it.
