PADI

PADI (The Professsional Association of Diving Instructers) is the largest professional diving organisation in the world. For the last 25 years PADI has set the standards for quality and excellence in diver education . PADI qualifications are highly regarded and recognised anywhere in the world.

For this reason we use only qualified PADI open water instructors on all of our PADI sanctioned courses, we are registered as PADI dive centre S - 7898.

Throughout the year we provide a full range of PADI courses from beginner upwards. For people with specific interests we run a wide range of diver speciality programmes, including :- Night diver, Wreck diver, Deep Diver, Underwater photographer and many more. For the diver and non diver we run the Medic First Aid course, which will teach you how to respond in a medical emergency. For a complete list of speciality courses contact the school today.

Dive Holidays Abroad

Throughout the year we run various diving trips to cater for all levels.Trips to Malta, the Red Sea and Florida have been arranged in 1995, similar opportunities are arranged for 1996 with the addition of UK trips to Scotland and Ireland. Theses holidays cater for divers and non-divers , and are arranged by the 69 Diving Group.
The opportunity to complete courses ( or part of courses ) is also available on our scheduled holidays.

Diving Equipment.

The school is equipped with modern diving equipment for use during, courses and is also available for hire. The shop has a full and varied range of dive equipment from accessories to full diving sets. We also provide full maintenance service to keep your equipment in tip top condition.

Pleasure Diving.

We can take you diving on our RiB, dive boat as soon as you have completed your PADI open water course. When you have gained the rescue diver qualification then why not dive the wrecks! on one of our hardboat trips during the season (these dives are all over 30 m, so access is restricted).

PADI Open Water Diver Course

Having completed a Discover Scuba session or new to the sport the Open Water course is your opportunity to become a qualified diver. Anyone over the age of 12 years who is reasonably healthy can learn to dive . Each part of the course is fun and ensures that you learn what you need to know to enjoy diving fully and safely.

The PADI Open Water course consists of 5 Academic (classroom) sessions, 5 pool sessions and 4 open water dives. All manuals, learning materials, tuition, equipment and certification will be provided and are included in the course fee.

Academic & Pool Sessions - £220. 00

Using modern audio visual aids and direct instructor involvement you will be taught basic diving theory. No previous knowledge is required. Under supervision of an instructor you will learn and practice the open water diving, skills in the confined safety of our heated pool.

Open Water Dives - £110.00

In appropriate locations around the coast, you will make four actual scuba dives with an instructor, where you will apply the skills learnt in the academic and pool sessions. Upon successful completion of the open water course you will he issued with a PADI certification card which is recognised world wide as a diving qualification.
